Hope serves up Christmas banquet

January 17, 2011 at 5:32 pm Leave a comment

The annual Hope Banquet was this year held at the Salvation Army hall in Belper Marketplace.

Residents from Riverside English Churches Housing were invited, with some coming from the local hostel in Belper and some from Heanor.

It was a great afternoon with Christmas dinner and entertainment. About 20 people a mixture from the Riverside Group and four of the churches in Belper enjoyed the afternoon together.

Thanks go to all the volunteers who helped to make this happen.

Hope for Belper – Demonstrating God’s love for our Town

Welcome to the weblog for Hope for Belper. Here you will be able to read about everything that’s happening locally running on from the national Hope08 initiative designed to demonstrate God’s love for our towns, villages and communities by providing practical help for those around us.

Updates on projects for the forthcoming year can be found at our Projects page. We would welcome your feedback both on this site and regarding Hope for Belper as a whole.
